Course description

This online course provides an introduction and overview to the concept and practice of subtle activism. Subtle activism involves the use of consciousness-based practices like meditation and prayer for social and global transformation. The course consists of three teaching sessions and three high quality guided subtle activism practices. Upon completing the course, students become eligible to join the Gaiafield Community, a growing global online community of 'subtle activists' who come together regularly to harness the power of group consciousness to support personal and collective transformation.

David Nicol, PhD, is the co-founder and director of the Gaiafield Project and the Founder of the Institute of Subtle Activism. He is the author of the acclaimed book Subtle Activism: The Inner Dimension of Social and Planetary Transformation, the first comprehensive study of the idea that our collective focused intention can make a powerful contribution to social change. David teaches on subtle activism at the Shift Network and the Institute of Subtle Activism. A former environmental lawyer from Australia, David now lives in N. California with his wife Kate and dogs Jackson and Peaches.
